Start with the mattress dimensions and maximum thickness specified by your cot's manufacturer. Check the internal mattress space, rather than the outside of the frame or an old mattress.

120 × 60cm is a common cot size; 140 × 70cm is a common cot-bed size. These are guides, not a guarantee of fit. Never fill a gap with padding.

Gold Sprung — construction detail
Gold Sprung · 10cm deep

Gold Sprung combines individual pocket springs with a surrounding layer of white 35/135-grade foam. Each spring sits in its own fabric pocket and responds independently.

The foam surrounds the spring unit on the top, bottom and sides. Its specified density is 35kg/m³, with a firmness rating of 135N.

A stockinette wrap encloses the core, helping the outer cover slide on and off. A repositionable waterproof band provides targeted protection beneath your baby.

The pale gold cover has a fine honeycomb pattern and a cushioned spacer-fabric backing. It has a conventional zip and can be removed for machine washing at 60°C and tumble drying on a low heat setting.

Gold Sprung is part of our Essentials range and is supplied as a complete mattress. Choose 120 × 60 × 10cm or 140 × 70 × 10cm, both priced at £129.95. A five-year guarantee is included.

Safety & care information

Remove the outer cover before washing at 60°C. Tumble dry the outer cover on a low heat setting. Wipe the waterproof band clean and position it beneath your baby. Check your cot or cot bed manufacturer's specified mattress size and maximum thickness before ordering.
